Points, what they are good for and how to get them
Batman Trailer has a points system in place.. It allows us to keep award members for participating on the site. The points will be used for many things. Such as a system for eligibility in a contest we might run, or simply a specific race to get the most points contest. Possible future implementations of the points might be to trade in points for prizes or batman stuff that we might include in a batman store (future).
How do you get points
You earn points by participating on the site. Any content you create is worth a certain amount of points. Any forum post and any comment is also worth points. Some content is worth more than others, and values may change. For instance if you add an image, you will receive 3 points. While a comment on something and voting on something is worth 1 point. Currently you will receive more points for adding content that takes more thought or is harder to do, like adding a plot to a comic or a movie. That is worth 10 points right now.
As you add content your points will be awarded so you will know how much stuff is worth. Remember it may change, but your past points will not be lost unless your content gets deleted or you trade them in for something.
